Get the look:

    On damp hair, apply a matte putty.
    Using a blow-dryer on slow air flow, use fingers to move the hair into place as it dries.
    To sharpen the texture on the ends, use a flat iron, on random sections.
    Lock the shape in place with Davines No. 13 matte forming ground and position into place.
